Tampa Bay Downs is one of the best independently family owned tracks in the country. A brother and sister bought the track at auction in 1986. During the winter months, this track boasts some of the best horse racing and biggest betting pools in the USA.

Another great track located in Florida. This one is right near Tampa Bay on the gulf side of Florida and closer to Alabama. Another one of the great tracks in Florida is Gulfstream Park.
