Turfway Park
Turfway Park is located in Kentucky near the border of Ohio. Also, the track is a little under 1 hour from Cincinnati, Ohio. While the facilities are a bit old and definitely need a revamp, this racetrack is known for one of it's Derby Prep Races. It could be fun to go visit. However, we suggest focusing more on betting this one than visiting.
In a couple weeks, Turfway will hold the Jeff Ruby Stakes on 3/9/19. It’s one of several key Derby Prep Races.
Another interesting thing to know is that they are planning on putting a 25 million dollar renovation into this facility. The renovation would also include the addition of historical racing machines, which are like slot machines. While this project has been supposed to happen for some time, it would be great for this racetrack if they were able to pull it off.
